Born in Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego, Argentina, Ignacio is a photographer, filmmaker and intercultural manager. For the past ten years, he has worked on projects exploring the cultural footprint of indigenous communities in Tierra del Fuego, using his work to uncover the complexities of Fuegian identity.
Now based in New York City, Ignacio serves as the Lead Teaching Artist for the Youth Photo League (YPL) at the Bronx Documentary Center, where he teaches documentary photography and filmmaking to middle and high school students.
He is also an Eddie Adams Workshop alumni (XXXVII edition), having won an assignment for Reuters.
